Quality Tested According to Drinking Water Ordinance

The quality of our filtered water is our top priority. To ensure that our L1 device meets the highest standards, we have our water regularly and comprehensively tested by independent specialized laboratories according to the strict requirements of the German Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV).

All analyses consistently confirm: the values are in the optimal range or even well below the legal limits.

Key analysis values at a glance:

• pH value: 7.12 – Ideally balanced and pleasantly weakly alkaline (basic) through refinement.
• Water hardness: 2.4 °dH – Classified as "soft". This ensures a particularly mild taste and simultaneously protects your coffee machine and kettle from limescale.
• Conductivity: 111 µS/cm – A clear indicator of the high purity and effective filtering performance of the system.
• Turbidity: 0.46 NTU – For crystal-clear water with spring water quality.

Optimized Mineral Content & Taste: Since our L1 system operates with state-of-the-art reverse osmosis technology, almost all harmful substances and limescale are removed in the first step. To prevent the water from tasting "empty," a targeted remineralization follows. This stabilizes the pH value and ensures a harmonious mineral balance as well as a particularly soft, spring-fresh taste:

• Calcium: 13.1 mg/l
• Magnesium: 2.3 mg/l
• Sodium: 6.5 mg/l
• Potassium: 0.8 mg/l

Maximum Safety & Residue-Free:

• Nitrate: < 0.5 mg/l – Practically undetectable and thus well below the limit of 50 mg/l.

Installation is simple and can be done without problems even by laypersons:

1. Shut off water supply:
   Turn off the cold water supply under the sink to stop the water flow.
2. Preparation:
   Remove the device and the complete installation kit from the packaging. Check that all necessary parts (connection adapter, hoses, mounting material) are present and undamaged.
3. Loosen connections:
   Unscrew the existing cold water hose from the angle valve (usually possible by hand or with a wrench).
4. Insert filter:
   Attach the appropriate adapter from the mounting set to the filter housing and ensure the correct flow direction (arrow marking on the filter).
5. Connect hoses:
   Connect the enclosed hoses to the filter and the water connections. Tighten all union nuts securely.
6. Mounting under the sink:
   Place the filter under the sink and ensure the flow direction is correct. Fix the filter with the enclosed holder or place it stably.
7. Check installation:
   Slowly open the water supply and check that all connections are tight. Let the water run for approx. 1 minute so that the filter fills and there is no more air in the system.
8. Function test:
   Check the water flow at the filter outlet and check that the water is clear and clean.
